4.10.06 - Rep. John Rhodes Endorsed By Rep. Doug Vinson (R) - Mecklenburg

North Mecklenburg, NC. - Today, Representative Doug Vinson (R) Mecklenburg joined the list of fellow Republicans giving Rep. John Rhodes (R) Mecklenburg his official endorsement, issuing the following statement:

"I support and endorse Rep. John Rhodes' re-election. He has been invaluable to me and our party and should be allowed to continue his hard work on behalf of conservative Republicans in our state and his constituents in District 98."

Rhodes thanked his colleague in the following statement:

"I want to thank Representative Vinson for his support, his endorsement and the close working relationship that I have with my fellow Mecklenburg delegation member. I continue to enjoy working with Doug in our mutual endeavors to take our state back."

"I am overwhelmed by the level of support of that is coming in from fellow Republicans serving in Federal, State, and County offices as well as members of the Republican grassroots."

U.S. Rep. Sue Myrick (R) offered her official endorsement last week.

Republican primary voters may vote on May 2nd, 2006 at their local precinct for Representative John W. Rhodes.
